Bangla Road — The Beating Heart of Patong
If there's one address everyone knows, it's Bangla Road in Patong — a walking street that closes to traffic every evening and turns into a sea of light, music and people from all over the world. Here you'll find Illuzion, ranked among the world's top 100 clubs, with festival-grade sound and lighting — alongside Hollywood, White Room and Sugar. Around them are dozens of open bars, live shows and endless energy. My tip: Bangla wakes up around 10pm and peaks after midnight.
Beach Clubs — Seaside Luxury
If you want a polished, slightly less wild vibe, Phuket's beach clubs are an experience of their own: infinity pools, day beds, champagne, gourmet food and international DJs against the sunset. The floating Yona Beach Club, Cafe del Mar, and Catch and Xana in Bang Tao — each with its own character. Most shift from a relaxed "poolside day" to a "sunset party", so aim to arrive around 4–5pm.
