Where to Stay in Thailand — Hotels & Group Party Villas

Where to stay in every region — from luxury hotels to large group villas perfect for bachelor & bachelorette parties

One of the most important decisions on a Thailand trip is where to stay — and it changes completely depending on the region, your group size and your travel style. Flying in with a crew for a bachelor or bachelorette party? A villa with a private pool makes all the difference. A couple after romance? A beachfront resort. Here's my full accommodation guide to every major region in Thailand, with real recommendations and booking links.

Hotel or villa — what suits you?

A hotel offers convenience, a central location and service — ideal for couples and small groups who want to be within walking distance of the nightlife. A private villa, on the other hand, is the winning choice for a large group: your own pool, room to celebrate with no neighbours, and often a lower per-person price than a hotel.

Villas for groups & bachelor / bachelorette parties

If you're a crew coming to celebrate, a private villa with a pool is exactly the move. In Phuket we have a selection of luxury villas perfect for parties: infinity pools, space to host, and close to the nightlife in Patong and Kamala. I can also arrange a DJ, chef, catering and a bar for the villa — everything ready when you arrive. Tell me how many you are and the vibe, and I'll match the perfect villa.

Bangkok

A city that never slows down — rooftop bars, huge clubs and night markets. The best areas to stay for partygoers: Sukhumvit (Thonglor / Asok) for nightlife, and Silom for rooftops. For a design hotel with a rooftop pool within walking distance of the action, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok is an excellent pick.

Phuket

Thailand's entertainment capital and, in my opinion, the best base for groups. For partying, stay in Patong, near Bangla Road: Amari Phuket, Avista Hideaway and Four Points by Sheraton. For quieter luxury — Sri Panwa, Keemala and InterContinental Phuket. And for a group that wants a private pool, see our villas. More hotel picks in the area on the hotels page.

Koh Phangan

The party island, home of the Full Moon Party. For groups considering upscale beachside stays: Kupu Kupu Phangan Beach Villas & Spa and Anantara Rasananda. For a crew coming to party, a private villa near Haad Rin is the smartest choice.

Koh Samui

A winning mix of beautiful beaches and Chaweng nightlife. Best areas for groups: Chaweng and Bophut. We don't have a listed hotel in Samui yet — but my recommendations include resorts and private villas around Chaweng and Bophut. Message me and I'll find you the perfect spot.

Chiang Mai

The laid-back north — nature, temples and a relaxed vibe, with nice nightlife around Nimman. Great for groups who want to mix touring and nature with a few city nights. I'll recommend boutique hotels and suburban villas for larger groups.

Pai

A charming bohemian town in the mountains, perfect for crews after nature, night markets and a mellow vibe. Accommodation here is mostly boutique resorts and riverside wooden bungalows — especially magical for groups wanting a break from the island pace.

Krabi

Giant cliffs, islands and breathtaking beaches. Ao Nang for nightlife and restaurants, Railay for romance and seclusion. Also great for groups who want to combine parties with days of nature and island-hopping.

Khao Lak

Calm, nature and beachfront luxury — the choice for those who want peace away from the crowds. Perfect for couples and for groups looking for a relaxed spa-resort to end the trip, a short drive from Phuket.

Not sure where to stay?

That's exactly my part. Tell me how many you are, your budget and your style — parties, relaxation or a mix — and I'll match the perfect stay in any region, including party villas with all the extras. Message me and let's plan it together.
